Information security has been an important topic over the past five years, with the introduction of the GDPR legislation and data breaches at some of the world’s largest tech companies. As a result, security and data protection has moved to the top of everyone’s requirements list when choosing a new supplier or service, it is nearly always one of the first topics we discuss when talking to new customers.

To address the demands this makes on our business we have spent the last 12 months working towards the rigorous ISO27001 standard, this has cemented information security at the heart of our business and ensures all our customers that their data is in safe hands.

We are very proud to announce that this month we passed our stage 2 certification with flying colours with 0 minor or major non-conformities, a major achievement for any company. This certification covers all of our products including Smart Radio, Alert information sharing and Insight reporting and management.

ISO27001 is the gold standard in information security, it demands that an organisation design its management system around the safe and secure handling of data. In order to become certified a company has to undergo a two-stage audit process of all its policies and process, demonstrating a consideration for data protection in all aspects of the business as well as evidencing the practical implementation. To maintain the certification, we will undergo further audits annually that will ensure that we continue to uphold the standard.
